Initial consultation

I offer an initial consultation which takes about an hour and is free. This gives you the opportunity to explain why you are looking for help, and me to assess whether hypnotherapy can be of help to you. It gives us an opportunity to get to know each other and to see if we can work together.

I will collect some details from you to help me understand why you have come for hypnotherapy and then I will explain how the brain works in relation to your issue. I will describe how hypnotherapy works and the crucial importance of the subconscious in helping with growth and healing. We will decide together roughly the number of sessions you need and I will give you access to a sound recording to listen to between the sessions.

Subsequent sessions

The subsequent personalised sessions last just less than an hour. The sessions are split into two parts, the first part is a therapeutic discussion where we explore together possible solutions to the presenting problem. The second part is where hypnosis happens, most people find this a deeply relaxing and rewarding experience.

This takes 3 sessions following the initial consultation involving the Rewind Technique and concludes in a Reframe or Visualisation session.

Smoking Cessation

Smoking cessation lasts up to two hours and the initial consultation is included as part of this session. Full client commitment is essential and willpower is required.

My fees are currently as follows:

Initial Consultation – free including a relaxation download. This also helps with sleeping.

Follow-up sessions – £50.00

Smoking Cessation – £120.00

Fees are to be settled at the end of each session by cash or cheque.

NB: Please note I require 48 hours notice for cancelled appointments and reserve the right to charge the full session fee outside of this notice period. Missed appointments will be charged at the full rate.
Hypnotherapy is effective however success in not guaranteed and full client commitment is important. Listening to the download between sessions is vital in the process and participation is required. This will be fully explained in the initial consultation.
